Welcome to BLW Wellingborough

We're so glad you came. Leave your details and our welcome team will be in touch.

How we use your information (privacy notice)

Who we are. BLW Wellingborough (“we”) is the data controller for the information you give us on this form.

What we collect and why. We collect your name, contact details, the date of your first visit, your age band, how you heard about us, and anything you choose to tell us (such as a prayer request). We use this only to welcome you and follow up with you as a new member of our church community.

Special-category data. Because we are a church, holding your details indicates a religious belief, which is “special-category” personal data under UK GDPR. We ask for your explicit consent below before storing it, and we rely on that consent as our condition for processing.

Who can see it. Only our welcome team can see your details. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing. Our data is stored securely with our software providers (Supabase for the database and Resend for email), who process it on our behalf.

How long we keep it. We review records at least every 24 months and delete details we no longer need.

Your rights. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your details at any time, and you can withdraw consent whenever you like — every email we send includes a one-click opt-out. To make a request, contact the church office. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Draft notice — to be reviewed with a professional before go-live.
